Formation is clear about what is shared, who can see it, and what the app will never become.
Am I being tracked all the time?
No. Location is shared only with the active crew and only while a convoy is running. End the convoy and the live room closes. Formation does not keep a permanent route trail.
Is Formation a racing app?
No. Formation is built for coordinated group drives, meets, and real car communities. There are no speed rankings, racing prompts, or takeover features.
What if I do not have a crew yet?
Choose Find a crew when you request an invite. Formation can place you on the path for compatible local communities as access expands.
Why is it invite-only?
Crews work because people trust who is in the room. Invite access keeps Formation intentional while the community and safety systems grow.
What does it cost?
Formation is free to join. Request an invite and we will contact you when access opens.
